At the Facialist we offer microneedling treatments with Dermapen® the world’s leading, patented microneedling device designed to improve skin tone, clarity, firmness and reduce acne scarring with minimal or no downtime.

The Dermapen treatment is designed to penetrate the skin’s surface, triggering the skin’s natural healing process. Following each session, the skin begins to heal itself, look more renewed and rejuvenated over time. Dermapens superfine microchannels are created to stimulate the production of elastin and collagen naturally and increases the delivery of specialist serum into the skin. We use exosomes and bespoke serums depending on your skin concerns.

What are the benefits of Microneedling?

Dermapen microneedling gives your skin the reset that it needs in as few as 3-4 sessions.

What should I expect during and after my microneedling treatment?

The treatment is relatively comfortable and takes between 30-45 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Your face will be cleansed and numbing cream applied, this requires a patch test. Microneedling is minimally invasive and most people experience nil to minimal discomfort. The skin may appear red and flushed with mild sensitivity, however this will diminish after a few hours.

It will take approximately five days for the skin to heal completely. Visible signs of rejuvenation are seen between 6-8 weeks
following the treatment.

How many treatments do I need?

A series of treatment depends on the clients and skin concerns.

We usually recommend a course of three to four 4-6 weeks apart with maintenance 3-4 times a year
